This coffee table is made from a slab of Curly Maple that has shimmer to the wood grain that comes from compression in the wood as the tree grew. The two side of the table are brought together with a brass strip to celebrate the union of the two pieces together. The two pieces aren't identical and have their own unique features but complement each other to make a beautiful piece together.
